MORZINE AVORIAZ IN THE WINTER
Nestling in a hollow of the mountain, Morzine's millenial village breathes out authenticity.
Its original village and summits around, give it the typical charm of savoyard resorts.
The result of a long history, Morzine has a traditional atmosphere and still keeps the memory of ancient customs that everyone will be able to discover through hikes, meetings or entertainment.
Morzine belongs to the largest ski domain in Europe.

CHATEL The charming village side of the Alps… An intimate break for two, a family holiday, a weekend with your friends... Whatever you choose to do here, in Châtel you´ll find everything the perfect village resort has to offer. A lively village centre, perfectly preserved mountain architecture, skiing in the vast unspoiled spaces of the Portes du Soleil, with little side routes here and there that you can follow on foot, on snowshoes or on skis. The countryside is as magnificent as the old chalets in the valley. Here, the atmosphere is a tempting mixture of a tranquil way of life, friendliness and fun! Every day is simply enchanting. After your day´s skiing you can sit on your balcony and just savour the moment. The magic of the mountains. Time stands still. It´s a moment of true happiness.

Avoriaz is a purpose built resort set in a dramatic scenery above the more traditionnal village of Morzine. It forms part of the Portes du Soleil ski area in the northern French Alps. The resort is traffic free, so snowcats or horse drawn sleighs transport your luggage to your accomodation. Avoriaz is a true international resort which has much to offer.
