SKI CARE ADVICE |
Have your ski edges regularly sharpened |
| Your ski edges must be properly sharpened, especially if you're going to be skiing on hard snow. To check, run your nail along it: a scratch should appear on the nails when in contact with the ski's edge.
Protecting your skis against rust |
| Ski edges are, sadly, very prone to rusting. Make sure to store your skis in a dry and ventilated area (never leave them in their case). At the end of the season, have them abundantly waxed. |
Storing your skis |
| When you're not using your skis, store them vertically. Don't leave them leaning one against the other, held by their stop-skis, because on the long run it will damage their elasticity.
Taking care of your ski soles |
| The ski soles must be waxed regularly so as to retain all their properties. If they are damaged, one should have them repaired immediately to prevent water from seeping in the ski's structure. |
Greasing your ski bindings |
| Certain bindings need to be greased regularly. See the ski's upkeep notice or ask a ski man for advice. |
