SKI RESORT GUIDE
RATING OF THE RESORT :4/5

Résidence Les hauts de Comborcière just next to the ski runs. A family resort that's not too busy. ESI ski school is fantastic for children and adults. Expert and really friendly ski instructors!!
The ESF ski school puts out its propaganda everywhere in all the residences unlike ESI which is a shame!!!
La Toussuire isn't too expensive and is a good compromise for keen and experienced skiers!!

Small but pleasant ski domain, mainly for families. Nice environment.
Complicated link to the Sybelles ski area... It's not really a linked area in my opinion. And you'd better not be laaate when you go baaaack, the ski lifts are timed like Swiss clocks, and more than one tourist has had to put their skis in the back of a taxi to get back. Welcome not brilliant, resort not very friendly
Resort OK overall with respect to the average. We rented a flat through MediaVacances with friends at the end of 2009 and had a super week.

La Toussuire on it's own is small: it's of interest for the domain of Sybelles: there are several possibilities. Superb views over the peaks of the French Alps (Gde Casse, Vanoise, Ecrins, Mont-Blanc, Belledonne); diverse landscapes) Never any queues for the ski lifts
Be careful of the liaison times: OK. But if you like getting up early, it's not a problem
A resort for lovers of simple things, beautiful landscapes, and able to seek out all the best places and off-piste areas where you can ski happily, safely and in beautiful landscapes.

Guaranteed friendliness (especially out of french school holidays)
