Nordica Dobermann SLR EVO [click] Type of ski : Slalom Recommended by our reviewers!
In our selection of the best skis currently on the market, Nordica’s Dobermann SLR Evo rates high for its extremely athletic qualities. It's a true slalom ski, very incisive and able to kick back a lot of energy at the end of a turn. Well handled, you can link turns at devilish speed... as long as you’re careful to dose the pressure, otherwise you’ll find yourself coming a cropper from the powerful momentum. This very stiff ski, with good flex distribution, really delivers, planting itself naturally in the turn without ever losing grip, even on packed snow. A real treat. An excellent choice for good to expert riders (with strong thighs!) who love very energetic skis that kick back a lot of energy. Less athletic riders will probably prefer the SLX Fusion, Hero Elite ST ti or the Speedzone 16 Ti.
Liked: Outstanding performance
Fast turn initiation
Powerful momentum
Exceptional grip, can manage wide-angled turns
Incredibly efficient in short turns...
Disliked: A very athletic ski, technically and physically demanding
The powerful rebound means you need to dose pressure carefully

Nordica Enforcer 100 [click] Type of ski : All Mountain 50/50 Best Accessibility/Enjoyment!
Nordica’s Enforcer 100 was tested last year in an All Mountain/freeride category where it brilliantly scored a "Best Ski" distinction. Tested this year in the more versatile All Mountain category, it remains a benchmark for the market and has kept an excellent position. Off-piste, the ski is easy to use, remarkable, docile, easy to handle, with great float in powder and happy in crud. It's extremely versatile, even in crud, displaying extraordinary stability and confidence. A joy...! On the slopes, it does what’s it's told and is efficient, lively and grippy. However, some reviewers regretted the stiff tail that made it swing but it won’t take too much edge off your pleasure. This year the Enforcer 100 consolidates its growing reputation and its place as one of the top all mountain/freeride skis on the market. We recommend it for intermediary to excellent skiers, especially good riders who’re keen to discover the joys of freeride.
Liked: Accessible
Flotation in powder
Very stable, even in the crud and choppy snow
Comfortable

Disliked: Not so happy on the piste: tends to swing, and ski tip a bit damp...

Nordica Astral 84 [click] Type of ski :
Performing a little less well than the Stormrider 85, but just as enjoyable, Nordica's Astral scored well for its extreme user-friendliness and exceptional fun on the piste. You’re immediately on top of it and need very little time to adapt. Simple to use, not to say intuitive, the ski steers at a touch with very little technical or physical skill. Above all, the Astral is a very playful ski, which enters turns easily and exits with dynamic rebound. The result is hugely enjoyable! A ski for good to very good riders mainly looking for a playful and easy tool.
Liked: Very accessible, instant handling
An enjoyable, playful ski
Great punch and rebound exiting turns
Comfortable
Consistent

Disliked: Performance slightly below the Stormrider 85...

Nordica Dobermann GSR EVO [click] Type of ski : Giant slalom
The Dobermann GSR Evo from Nordica is enjoyabe but quite demanding! The ski, which is relatively flexible at the tip and stiff at the tail, needs a little time to adapt. It’s a ski with character that kicks back a lot of energy so you need to learn to master it. But once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s sheer joy. The Dobermann GSR Evo is a real Giant ski which performs well in all conditions. The ski is smooth in short turns and has a certain fluidity on soft snow, making it very versatile. It will definitely please good to excellent riders looking for a truly athletic ski.

Possible to shorten the radius
Smooth, even fluid, on soft snow

Nordica GT 80 Ti [click] Type of ski : Men's high-end
Nordica's GT 80 Ti really deserves its name. The ski scores high for its excellent sports qualities, especially for carving/slideslips, but unfortunately lacks the versatility needed to get to the top of this category where we’re looking, above all, for consistency. It's well behaved overall with great stability, including at high speed and on hard pack, with solid pressure for big looping curves. Turn performance is excellent and exiting turns is a doddle, with great rebound. On the other hand, the ski is less happy in short turns where it requires more effort. For the reviewers, this is a stiff and efficient carving ski, so not the ideal companion to cruise through sideslips or for skid turns. Basically, it’s an excellent performance ski that requires engagement but is not consistent enough for the Top-of-the-Range category. However, we recommend the GT 80 Ti for good to very good carving fiends who’ll find it a truly incisive model.
Liked: Stability at high speeds
Loves long turns
Reliable pressure
Carving
An energetic and incisive ski

Disliked: A technically and physically demanding ski
Smoothness less apparent in short turns

Nordica Sentra SL7 Ti EVO [click] Type of ski : Women's high-end
Tested a bit short in this category (156cm for 165cm requested), the Sentra SL7 Ti Evo is an excellent touring ski, but unfortunately is not versatile/nimble enough to do well in this Top-of-the-Range Female category. It's amazingly simple to use, consistent in skid turns, and rotation is a piece of cake. On the other hand, it’s a lot more challenging when we step up the pace: it loses stability and pressure when you increase the speed, and doesn’t particularly enjoy carving. Recommended for good riders looking for facility and comfort.
Liked: User-friendly
Smooth in skid turns
Nimble until you reach medium speeds
Very enjoyable in soft snow
Comfort and overall fun
...
Disliked: Very happy in skid turns, the ski finds carving more challenging
Loss of pressure and stability at high speed
