One of our review team's "Top picks". The Dynastar Sultan 80 is very well positioned in the "Versatile Freeride" category (30% Freeride, 70% Slope). According to our reviewers, it is at once "docile" and "full of personality". A model which can be recommended to a wide range of skiers , especially those who wish to have only one pair of skis to have fun on the slopes, and go off-piste now and then, regardless of snow conditions.

Nonetheless, this ski is a good bet for the resourceful to intermediate skier who is looking for a ski which is very easy to use at moderate speeds on downhill runs, pleasant underfoot on soft snow, and which can be used to gain experience on powder.

We must admit that this model frustrated our reviewers, who found it difficult to get used to and "get the hang of". The ski has too much of a "slopes" profile to be included in the "Versatile Freeride" category, but nevertheless is a good "slopes" ski for the average to good skier looking for a ski that is fun to use while delivering performance.
