Rossignol Zenith Z9.5 [click]
Type of ski: Men's Advanced
Ski review summary :
One of our reviewers' "Top Picks". What impressed our reviewers about this ski was its homogeneous performance and its qualities in every domain. It is practically the ideal ski in the "Advanced" category, in which the main requirement is a combination of performance, comfort, accessibility and versatility. The Z9.5 is perhaps that rare bird. It is an excellent choice for the average to very good skier who is looking for performance but without having to make concessions in other areas.

Ski review summary :
All in all, a very good ski whose outstanding features are its performance and versatility. It is perfectly suited to athletic and demanding skiers, whose technical level is average to good, but who want a ski that will help them progress.

Atomic D2 VF 72 Select [click]
Type of ski: Men's Advanced
Ski review summary :
Geared towards fun and accessibility more than performance, the Atomic D2 Select is a very good choice for intermediate-level skiers who want an "easy", comfortable ski that is fun to use without too much effort, but capable nonetheless of enabling them to improve their technique.

Dynamic VR 27 LT LIMITED [click]
Type of ski: Men's Advanced
Ski review summary :
The reviewers agreed that the VR27 Limited was a "serious" ski, delivering good all-round performance, but lacking in character. The general feeling was that, despite being a modern ski in terms of design, the VR27 is "better suited to more traditional skiing style".

Salomon 24H Z12 [click]
Type of ski: Men's Advanced
Ski review summary :
Its performance capabilities are too limited to qualify for inclusion in this category, in which performance, but also accessibility, comfort and versatility are the major criteria. The length of the model we reviewed (178 cm as opposed to the 170 cm model we requested) corroborated our reviewers' opinion. Notwithstanding these shortcomings, the Salomon 24H is a good choice for the physical and technically proficient skier who likes to carve wide turns at high speeds but who is not necessarily looking for a Giant Slalom ski.
