Selected as one of our review teams' "Top picks" for performance... but also for its attractive design! The Light Elve is an excellent beginner-level ski, which is pleasant to use, easily accessible and capable of accompanying the skier as they improve their technical skills. A excellent choice for novice to confirmed skiers who want to enjoy themselves while making progress.
As one of our reviewers put it: "For fun without too much effort". This perfectly sums up this ski, whose performance is not quite good enough to qualify easily for this category. It is however a very good product for most intermediate skiers who are looking for comfort and ease of use rather than performance.
The reviewers agreed that the VR27 Limited was a "serious" ski, delivering good all-round performance, but lacking in character. The general feeling was that, despite being a modern ski in terms of design, the VR27 is "better suited to more traditional skiing style".
We must admit that this model frustrated our reviewers, who found it difficult to get used to and "get the hang of". The ski has too much of a "slopes" profile to be included in the "Versatile Freeride" category, but nevertheless is a good "slopes" ski for the average to good skier looking for a ski that is fun to use while delivering performance.
