The 6th Sense from Dynastar is a "heavy duty" ski. Very wide, with a 98 mm waist and a relatively stiff and responsive flex, it's very stable and is good for carving big turns on groomed slopes.
Although not included in the programme, the ski scored well for performance and versatility in freeride on all types of terrain.
A highly physical and technical ski, the 6th Sense is relatively demanding on the piste. As one of the testers quipped, this is a ski for "strong thighs." Designed for long-radius turns, it performs less well in tight turns.
Conclusion for the Dynastar 6th Sense Slicer
The Dynastar 6th Sense Slicer is a "Freestyle" ski that matches the ProSkiLab™ guidelines, designed for 50% piste/50% park. On the other hand, it's still an excellent backcountry ski for skiers with good technical and physical skills interested in a 70% freeride/15% piste/15% park programme.
